A couple of summers ago we were floating the Boise River.
Going over one of the falls, my friend's wife came out of the raft. She panicked trying to catch her breath and her jaw locked up.
They had not brought wallets or phones with them.
So I pulled out mine, called an uber to get them to the hospital, handed them my card, told them my pin and told them to use it for whatever they needed.
(She is completely fine, by the way. The doctors realigned her jaw that afternoon.)
Why am I sharing this weird story?
There was a time I would stew over an electric bill coming in $20 higher than the month before.
A time when an empty fridge made my stomach drop since I knew I had to make a trip to the grocery store.
Standing on that riverbank, none of that existed.
My only thoughts were to take care of my friends.
And I knew I was able to...
That is not a flex about money like I'm Oprah handing out credit cards to everyone telling them to splurge on stuff...
It is the moment I realized I had actually "made it"...
Made it to a point of being able to help the people around me without doing math first.
Being able to just take care of life as it happens without the constant anxiety of what it COULD throw at me.
Its called peace of mind, and you cannot buy that at a store.
Trading has done more for me than just paying my bills, and to find out all the details of HOW I help people trade effectively:
