Everybody assumes the hard part is finding the trade.
It's not. It's leaving.
Three different guys, same morning last week.
Zaid: "No greed. Locked in 10 as soon as I saw it."
Tom: "One and done. 11 pip move, took 10 of them."
Daniel: "5 and done."
None of them wrote a paragraph about how disciplined they are. They just left.
That is the actual skill.
The market will happily give you a reason to stay in for one more, and one more is how a good morning turns into an average one.
Here's the part that surprises people. You don't learn to stop by wanting it more. You learn it by having a number, out loud, before you start.
And when the market hands you a big one, you take that too.
Paul was out at 101.8 pips Friday morning. "The news was good to me this morning.. aaaaaand I'm out."
Same discipline. He just got handed a bigger day and still left when the plan said leave.
Do that for a few months and something changes that has nothing to do with trading.
You become a person who does what they said they would do.
Where else would that show up in your life?
