The year is 2015.

It’s 10:37 AM on a Monday, and I’m one "urgent" calendar invite away from grabbing a baseball bat and going full “Office Space” on the company printer.

As the new calendar invite hits my inbox (“Mandatory Attendance”), I can physically feel it —

Cortisol pumping into my bloodstream.

Heart rate spiking.

That tight, invisible hand squeezing around my chest.
