I once timed myself unloading the dishwasher.

Why? No idea.

Just me…treating household chores like an Olympic event.

When I slammed that last cabinet shut in under three minutes, I felt a weird mix of pride and emptiness.

It seems speed only feels good when you’re going somewhere that actually matters.
