I remember shaking as I hung up the phone, terrified of the massive Unknown I just created in my life.

I just spoke with my ex-boss for the final time.

See, I was working as an engineer making 6 figures, and that conversation was my boss’s final attempt to prevent me from quitting.

He almost succeeded.

He offered me a 50% increase in pay and I get to work from home.

They REALLY didn’t want me to leave.

However, those offers only proved it further that I needed to walk away.

See, I came to this insane realization about priorities in my life and how I was ruining my relationships by only putting money as #1.

I was working SO long and SO hard that my kids were getting distant and I could feel that gap between us continuing to grow.

I just KNEW I had to leave the world of being an employee behind and do something for myself.

I Needed to have the time to spend with my kids and change around my family situation, and it was impossible with the demand from that job.
