Why I'm Not “Right” In The Head lol

The truth is, none of us are actually “failing”. We’re just following the rules of a system that was never built for our financial freedom in the first place.

Back when I was an engineer, I used to believe I was thinking logically.

I budgeted carefully.

Tracked every expense.

Planned my raises years in advance.

I thought I was being smart.

But looking back now, I realize I wasn’t thinking logically...

I was thinking like someone who was trapped.

You see, when we’re stuck in the grind –

when our time isn’t really our own,

when our energy is always spent chasing the next deadline, the next meeting, the next little bump in pay –

we start solving for survival instead of freedom.

Everything gets filtered through the same lens:

When’s the right time to ask for a raise?

How much harder can I push before finally burning out?

If I can just hold on one more year, I might be able to get that promotion…

That’s not logic.

That’s programming.

But the wild part is,

when we finally break out of that cycle...

when our life is no longer dictated by hours, paychecks, or performance reviews…

It’s not just our habits that change – it’s the way we interpret reality.

And that shift can be violent.

Because it breaks everything we thought to be true.

These days, I make decisions that would’ve made “past me” do a double take.

I optimize my life for freedom, not permission.

For empowerment, not compliance.

For legacy, not just “keeping up” with the Joneses.

To someone still stuck on the hamster wheel?

That might sound insane.

And honestly –

It kind of is.

But once we’ve tasted what it’s like to truly be free –

We realize just how distorted “normal” really was.

Turns out, you don't need to have some sort of “gift” or natural inclination towards numbers to be highly profitable in trading.

I'm living proof of that.

In fact, by the time I finally found trading, I was really just looking for something to get me out of my dead end job – and the continual cycle of burnout I was trapped in.
